Razor makes excellent kick scooters and ride-ons, and one of the unique features of their ride-ons is that some of the models have the ability to generate sparks when the rider kicks the scooter or rotates the ride-on 360 degrees. However, over time the part that produces the spark gets depleted. Razor Spark Replacement Cartridges are easily available that let you keep the fun element going.
About Razor Spark Replacement Cartridges
The Razor Spark Replacement Cartridge is a product designed for the Razor’s various products (such as the Spark kick scooters, drift rides and so on).
It is a cartridge that contains a flint that creates sparks as the rider kicks the scooter. The sparks are created when the flint rubs against a metal plate located at the back of the scooter, which adds an extra fun element to riding.
When the flint is worn down or depleted, the Razor Spark Replacement Cartridge is used to replace the old one, allowing the rider to continue to create sparks as they ride.
The spark-creating part scrapes the ground in order to generate the sparks. That is why they get depleted after some time. However, these do not damage regular concrete surfaces.
So, if the existing cartridge of your Razor product is depleted, or If you have managed to get hold of a popular Razor big wheel or Kick scooter at a garage sale for a great price but it’s spark generator is worn down, you can use one of these cartridges and your ride-on will be able to create sparks once more.

Installing the Replacement Cartridges
The replacement cartridge are designed to be user-friendly and easy to install, it comes with all the necessary components that you will need to make the swap.
To attach a new cartridge, simply follow these steps (the steps are more or less the same for the various products):
- Ensure the spark mechanism on the scooter/ride-on has cooled down.
- Remove the old cartridge by unscrewing the top of the spark bar and sliding out the used cartridge.
- Insert the new cartridge into the spark bar, making sure that it slides in all the way.
- Screw the top of the spark bar back on until it is snug.
That’s it you need to do.
Now your Razor Spark ride-on should be ready to create sparks again.
